Sometimes the answer to all of life’s problems is to throw down on the dancefloor!  Dancing Room Only NYC, in contrast to today’s more voyeuristic club experiences, intends to take the focus back to the dancefloor. We inspire to hire some of the world’s top talents who’ve proven to be successful in maintaining a heavy dancefloor vibe reminiscent of the “good old days” alongside some of NYC’s finest local DJs.

Dancing Room Only founded in 2015, is a NYC event brand catered to the love of dance and spawned in the spirit of the heyday of the NYC underground dance music community. Since its inception, their focus has been to deliver a night specifically curated to deliver maximal dancefloor damage and wearing your most comfy shoes is highly recommended. Resident DJ and founder, Rissa Garcia, is a NYC native that has had her share of dance floor experience. She spent a good portion of her years on the dancefloor of NYC legends like Danny Tenaglia, Danny Krivit, Louie Vega and more. She made it a point to be there from the very first song until the very last and she uses that experience to hand select some of the finest djs to play alongside her.

From opening to close, she insures each DJ knows how to deliver the right message for every moment providing a consistent flow of music that matches the energy throughout the night. Each event promises an intense night of pure dancefloor bliss and so far they’ve delivered.
